Bantam C1 Wins Silver in Richmond!

JDF Bantam C1 had a great first tournament at Richmond during the Remembrance Day weekend.  After going through the round robin undefeated, the Grizz finished in first place and faced a host Seafair team in the semi final which they won convincingly.  The gold medal game was against the other Seafair host team which the Grizz had previously defeated in the round robin.  The final was a penalty filled game particularly in the second when the Grizz were in the box for 14 minutes of the period and also faced a penalty shot which Brandon D turned away!  The game went to overtime and was finally decided in the 5th round of a shoot-out - where Seafair managed to pull off the victory.

The players played a terrific tournament, working hard and really gelling as a team.  Coaches and parents are extremely proud of all of you!
