Bantam C1 Tourny Win

For the second time in as many tournaments, (Perry’s) Juan de Fuca C1 Grizzlies have captured gold!  The final game was hard fought.  We gave up a late 3^rd period heartbraking and momentum shifting tie-up goal.  Our boys were forced to battle through 5 mins of scoreless OT taking the game into a shootout.  Jack Wenstob succumbed to the first shooter but the Grizzly’s Graedon Church responded.  The next two Saanich forwards would be stopped by the Wenstobbian one leaving Tyson Girardet to laser one through the legs of the defending goalie in the final shot, all but sealing the deal!
